Dallas Children's Museum

This wonderful and popular museum is aimed at children, families and educators. It
makes for a fantastic and exciting day out. Its general aim is to help kids to appreciate
their own families and heritage more, along with gaining a better understanding of other
cultures and ways of life. It is a very impressive 6,500 square foot facility, and
completely immerses visitors in a stimulating environment, through both fun and
interactive experiences. Some of these experiences include cultural exploration, dramatic
play, outdoor activities, artistic endeavors, farm to market fun, and educational growth.
The museum helps children to nourish their natural talents, help build new and useful
skills, and increase their confidence through various methods of learning and discovery.
Some of the exhibits used to aid the children are YiaYia Sofia's Greek Village, Fairy
Tale Road and Flying the Child's Hope. Apart from the regular classes, the museum also
organizes various field trips, fund raisers and party packages. The opening hours are 9am
to 6pm on Monday to Friday, Saturdays from 11am to 6pm and Sundays from 11am to
6pm.
